The quality of a downloaded Facebook video depends on the original upload. Facebook processes and compresses videos when they're uploaded, so the maximum available quality is set at that point.

When you paste a link into GetFVid, we look up what formats Facebook makes available for that video. You'll typically see:

HD (720p / 1080p) — higher resolution, larger file size. Available when the original was uploaded in good quality.
2K / 4K — available for select videos uploaded in very high resolution, such as those shot on newer phones.
SD — standard definition, smaller file. Usually available for all videos.
Audio only — MP3 format, just the audio track.

Keep in mind: if a video was uploaded at low quality, we can't improve it. What you see in the results is what Facebook has available.
